Pre-Intermediate
Students
enter this level with an understanding of the basic grammatical
structures and the ability to comprehend and formulate basic
phrases in Spanish. In this course vocabulary and grammatical
structures are widened. As always, special emphasis is placed
on communication and comprehension. The objective of the
course is to enable the students to comfortably deal with
everyday situations.
Intermediate
Students
enter this level with a knowledge of the indicative tenses
and the ability to communicate in everyday situations. In
this course the indicative forms are revised and the subjunctive
forms are introduced. Special attention is also paid to
the development of oral fluency. The objective of the course
is for the student to feel comfortable conversing in a wider
variety of situations.
Advanced
This
level is for those students who have knowledge of the indicative
and the subjunctive tenses, but may still have problems
in their usage. In this course these areas are revised and
extended. Linguistic errors and general areas of difficulty
are dealt with. The objective of the advanced course is
to enable the student to communicate in more complex situations,
both everyday and professional.
All students will be required to complete and return a level test before taking a course.
To be prepared to take the DELE Inicial exam you will need to attain an intermediate level.
To be prepared to take the DELE Intermedio exam you will need to attain an advanced level.
Certificates
On
completion of the course, each student will receive a certificate
of participation, indicating the level of the course and
the hours attended.
